Starting BEST in Your Community

BEST Robotics operations structure consists of BEST Hubs and BEST Championships.  BEST hubs are those local competition sites in different parts of the nation where teams intially participate. For the robotics competition, teams may place high enough to advance to a BEST Championship. Each Championship receives a allocated number of advancing teams from a predetermined set of hubs in the same region. See all of the currently active hubs and championships by clicking on the map.

Hubs and Championships are licensed non-profit entities of BEST Robotics, Inc.  Each is managed and run by any group fulfilling the establishment requirements, ranging from

  • New or established non-profit organizations/agencies
  • 2-year community and technical colleges
  • 4-year colleges and university
  • K-12 school systems
  • Corporations
  • Engineering professional societies
