BEST Robotics puts students at the center of design and marketing by emulating an actual product development process using robotics as the platform. Industry concerns such as time-to-market, design-to-function and design-to-cost are all constraint factors experienced by the students.  Students organize and execute their company just as today's industry leaders do.

BEST Robotics gives students a glimpse into the real-world science, engineering, techology and mathematics fields, with a hands-on challenge that develops their skills for the future, regardless of what path they may take. Each year, a new industry-connected theme is revealed with current relatable problems to solve. The challenge is exciting, fun, rewarding and educational. Our goal is to show students what career opportunities exist by putting them right in the middle of it and getting them excited about the pursuit.

The program targets middle and high school students and is available to all schools regardless of socioeconomic status. We are the most unique and accessible program of this type available; and there is no cost for participation.

Through participation in our program, students learn to analyze and solve problems utilizing the Engineering Design Process, which helps them develop technological literacy skills. It is these skills that industry seeks in its workforce.
